Hello GM World, my name is Jeff from the NC Coast. I purchased an 87 R10 in Aug. of 21 and knew up front that the 350cid was not the 5.0 that came from the factory. Well since then I was trying to get some info on the motor before I did anything with it, so casting and id numbers where I started. Found out motor was born in NY and came out of a 1970 Camaro built in LA., but there is other info on the id stamp that I cannot find which are G.R. 358 CID 188152924, 9.17.88. Any info on what I actually have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jeff.
