Default 2024 Equinox Turn Signal Problem

My wife owns a 24 Equinox..... we have replaced the turn signal bulb on the front drivers side twice in 3 months..... the bulb will not work, and we get a message on the dash to it not working..... after we replace the bulb it seems to work fine for a couple months before it stops working.....why are we having this problem?

I'd take that in for a warranty repair next time it is out. Tell them you're on your third bulb and they need to figure out why this is happening. The fact that it is doing this is probably an indicator of a larger electrical problem that you don't want to deal with after the problem gets bigger and warranty runs out.

Warranty is about useless for bulbs. I think they only do it for the first 90 days.

Yeah, but it is good for ongoing electrical issues. Theoretically, if they can't solve this issue, it might be possible to get it lemon-lawed.

It is not a bulb...the bulb works at times and not at other times.....it'* frustrating. It did not work all this afternoon, so I thought I'd take a look at it when I got home from work.....and when I got home from work it worked just fine and I could not get it not to work....... so because it was working I could not use my volt meter on it as it showed voltage and continuity.

So . . . it is a wiring issue. That'* where I was headed with this. Maybe it is a simple wiring fix. If so, that'd be great, and they would have done it already. If it is something more complex, that'* where I'm talking about warranty repair and getting the failures documented. This could be the type of thing that you chase forever.

Sounds like a socket problem.
