Default 2015 Chevrolet Impala LS blind spot addition

I am thinking about trying to add blind spot detection to my Impala. I have a LS Impala with the IO3 informant package (fleet package with non-touch 4" screen) and backup sensors. I have located a couple junked LTZ Impala'* in my area where I can get the mirrors, wiring harnesses and blind spot sensors.

My question is can the modules be programmed to function? I am hoping they can be but I don't want to spend the money unless I am sure the system can be made functional.

I know I wouldn't have the ability to turn the system on and off since I don't have a touch screen.

Anyone have an experience or thoughts on this?

That'* a good one. I'm not sure. I'd start by checking the connectors on yours and one the LTZs and see if the wiring is there.

If it is, there'* a chance that a dealership could program it in.

. . . however . . . if the controls for turning it on and off are not in the upgraded infotainment system, that might be required in order to have the blind spot sensors.
