I did not see any reviews before purchase...... and upon talking with them they wanted me to "prove" it was bad....by sending all kinds of paperwork to them....then they said, "It was probably installed incorrectly." (there was a total of 4 bolts on the catalytic converter....how could I install the incorrectly in the 4 holes that were there on the flange?..........Upon putting it in and starting it up the light immediately came on......then they said, "Did you have a qualified mechanic install it?" I have been working on cars for 45 years, I know what I'm doing (I don't have paperwork from a shop)....and I don't have the time or the hassle to deal with this. It is what it is, and a gave the VIN to an ASE Mechanic that will get another one for me.

Yeah, they appear to be one of those that sells iffy garbage then makes it difficult to return.

Curious how it goes with the next one (hopefully from a reputable manufacturer).

I put the new Cat on today and the CEL came back on in 3 miles of driving....so it is probably another problem like a leaking injector, but engine seem to run just fine as I don't feel any misfires or the like.............

If the cat can't store O2 it will fail. I'd look at it with a scan tool.

I have..... I don't know what is causing the problem....... it seems like the engine is running rich, but it'* idling just fine and no misfires....I'm beginning to think I have a bad injector(*) but it looks like it would idle problematically.

If it'* running rich you will have LTFT in the teens or so. What does the scan tool show for them?
What kind of fuel pressure do you have?

This is the Upstream O2, is the blackness caused by a rich condition?

The LTFT is @-15, The fuel rail pressure is @475 and the fuel pressure sensor is @ 58, both of my 02 Sensors are showing about the same thing @ .80 volts.
