2013 Caprice PPV Immobilizer error indicator on
I was programming a new key and caused the immobilizer to activate. The dealer talked me through the reset but the immobilizer error indicator remains on display. I took it in to the dealer to have the error code reset and was told I'm stuck with the error indication forever. the dealer has no way to reset that code. Every time I start the car it is there. I have to press the select to have it move to the bottom of the display. It'* always there.
(I know Holden doesn't tell you that the Caprice TPMS can be reset by the owner just like the Pontiac G8. Caprice owner'* manual says take it to the dealer.)
Is the dealer right? Am I stuck with this immobilizer error indicator forever?

The dealer is wrong or lazy or something. It'* not that rare of a car. If you were a police department they'd figure it out or sub out to another dealer that knows how.
Try another dealer.
Try another dealer.
