Thats what I thought too but I didn’t see it. I’ll drop the spare tomorrow and have another look. Just seeing if anybody had any other ideas. Thanks for the reply

Found it up there. Don’t think it’* my fuel pump issue though. I ran jumpers across and still didn’t kick my fuel pump on. This pickup has ate 3 new fuel pumps since August and I can’t figure it out

Gas problems. Tank that is peeling, we use a bore scope to look inside.

This truck only has 107k on it. What would cause the tank to peel and what would you see on the scope?

We find some where the coating will flake or peel. It usually looks like glitter. When changing the pumps do you ever autopsy them?

I haven’t really looked them over besides a quick glance looking for debris but they’ve all looked clean. The first new one lasted a little over a month and the next two have lasted right at three weeks.

What manufacturer and model of pump?

Are you changing filters as well?

What region does the vehicle live in?

It’* a precision pump from oreillys. Everything I’ve read said the filter is internal on the pump? I live in Oklahoma
