My washers froze up and have not worked since under any weather condition. I found both nozzles plugged and the main feed hose had come off. However, the washer motor does not run. Don't know if motor is bad or unplugged. Have searched for individual fuse but everything refers to wiper/washer fuse.
I tried to remove the reservoir today to check things out. Not easy with 20 degrees outside but better than the 25 below a few days ago. Anyway, I gave up because getting dark and came inside to research on the confuser to see if I can find a specific way to remove it. Pfft. Nothing. Any past experience?

you check the plug to see if you get voltage to it when hitting the switch?

The wiper switch fuse in the instrument panel (left side of passenger foot well) also controls the washer pump. Like Justin said, check for voltage at the pump when someone in the car is activating it. If yours is located like the one on the Bonneville, you have to remove the front right tire and the fenderliner, at which point it is staring you in the face. Yours might be in a different position.

the one on my monte was there too but not sure about a malibu. my motor did have a separate fuse though and both were on the panel by the battery

I can't even find the pump yet to see if it'* even plugged in. No way to check for voltage. Will have to wait for fair weather to look. Snowed 6" and now a -25 wind chill. Too old for that crap anymore. I'll see it if and when I find it. Thanks.

Not really. My reservoir is on the drivers side and the fuse for the wiper is on the right side of the console. They check good as does the fuse under the hood.

looking at a pic of the pump it looks like it might be inline of the hose that goes to the wipers, because its got two hose fittings on it, so just find where the hose goes and follow it
