Default 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx headlight issue.

I recently purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx, I had had a problem with the passenger side headlight shorting out the socket. After wiring in several sockets, the passenger side headlight low beam quit working altogether, I went to the Boneyard and got another passenger side headlight and plugged it in and I still don't have any low beam. I have high beams I have turn signals I have marker lights. Is this a problem with the wiring harness itself?

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. You will have to trace the circuit to where it joins a ground.
