Default 2000 Monte Carlo SS Fast Flashing Blinkiers

We have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS. The blinkers were not working and the brake lights where not working...the High Mount Brake light was working.....so we changed out the hazard switch and everything started working correctly again BUT the turn signals were now blinking quickly.....all 4 bulbs are on (no turn signal bulb is not lighting) but the the signals are just blinking fast........what is going on?

It blinks fast when the respective circuit believes it sees a bulb out.

Are these normal bulbs, not LEDs or some other aftermarket thing?

All lights off and car idling in Park. Do the all three brake lights light up when someone pushes the brake pedal?

You either have an open or a bulb is out.

No bulb is out....all the bulbs are working......and they are standard Sylvania bulbs.

So, with the driving lights on, when you have the turn signal on, it goes bright-dim-bright-dim etc. right?
