Default 79 chevy chevette

So I have a chevette i believe the 1.6l. I drove it to work ran smooth. Can out from work and no crank. I get the few dummy lights and the buzzer but once I turn the key to start nothing happens. I just replaced the starter this spring and it has started up perfect every time except once and that was fuseable link by starter. Fixed that, it has about 35k original miles. It gets like 25 mpg which i hear might be a lil low. Any ideas on the no start? Also is 25 mpg good for this year? This isn't her first time out this year either. Also it didn't rain that day it was actually nice out like 80 degrees.

check the little wire at the starter for 12v with the key in start. if you have it its the starter, if not follow the wire back. there is likely a neutral safety somewhere or it could be the ign itself but normally when those go its not just all the sudden.

Battery is about 2 years old. Symptoms of a starter but I've knocked it and don't get anything so. I'm gonna test the lil wire. I've also tried starting it in all gears same thing. There wouldn't be a starter relay would there? I checked the fuses and saw like 3 relays down by the fuse box all cylindrical. (Looks like a flasher relay typically) with 2-3 prongs.
