2000 Impala 3.4L Part No. 24508415
Anybody know what the part near the front top of the engine is called. I see that there'* a number on it and it'* 24508415. I have no clue what it'* called.

I checked on a gm parts website it only says its a valve. It has a new number 24508523. $89.48 24508523 - GM VALVE That'* the link to it.

Most numbers on GM parts are not part numbers but are casting numbers. The parts guy at the dealership I used to work at had a program on his computer that he was able to look up casting numbers but it was a hit or miss deal.
