Default '10 Impala Seat Belt problem

Whenever I try to lock the drivers seat belt in it does lock in all the time and sometimes it takes several attempts to get it to lock ?
Its very frustrating does anyone know why ?

Yes, where it locks in doesn't click. The red button sticks too.

Did you or someone spill something on the latch or did it get food or something in there and causing it to stick. If there nothing in there then you would need to get a new latch assembly.

Get a flash light and someone with good eyes to see if something is jammed in the latch mechanism. Spray it with WD40 to lubricate it.
