Both at the same time? This would be unusual.

This would also be unusual, almost unheard of these days.

How many miles on this car?

How many miles have you owned it?

Has is had any major trauma recently?

Has it had any major repairs recently?

Has is had any major repairs ever?

What region does it live in?

Thanks!

How many miles have you owned it?

Did a shop rebuild it?

Did the valve body get disassembled, checked, and cleaned?

Yes a shop rebuilt it
180,000
I have little faith that the valve body has been touched
The solenoids are inside the TCM correct

Looking online the code P0796 says something pertaining to 4-5-6 clutch regulator valve in upper valve body

P2714 says 2-6 clutch regulator valve upper valve body

The TCM controls the shift solenoids. They are internal at the valve body while the TCM is external and highly unlikely your problem. I would do a test drive with a gauge to monitor pressure and a scan tool to see what the TCM is commanding in comparison.
Can you get the freeze frames?

During initial warm up it will warm up quickly.

Is the transmission still under warranty from the rebuilder? If so, take it back.
