Trailer Wiring

Has anyone else had a problem on 2005 Escalade using a 7 pin to 4 pin adaptor for the trailer lights, that the taillight pin does not line up with the vehicle outlet’* taillight pin?

Wrong adapter.

Problem solved! I took the adaptor apart and moved the brown tail light wire to the blank space that lined up with the tail light wire on my vehicle.
