Default Right front turn signal failure

This pops up when the right blinker is turned on. The blinker blinks fast when that pops up. The previous owner had to put a new headlight assembly in. The assembly is aftermarket one. It'* there any ways to test if the headlight assembly is bad or if it'* a different problem causing the fast blink. 2018 Cadillac xts

It'* most likely a bulb problem or a wiring problem. Are you good with a volt meter?

There are no bulbs in the assembly you can change. I am alright with a volt meter.

Why did it get changed? Is the previous one still available?

The lens broke on the old one. The person we bought the car from had the headlight assembly changed. So they used the wires to make a splice.

I wonder if they got the replacement from a junkyard.
