Does anybody else have this plug adapter on their headlight assembly? The driver side doesn't have it just the passenger. The passenger side headlight assembly has been changed. The passenger side blinker blinks fast. The headlight assembly was changed before i bought the car. 2018 Cadillac xts

I think we need a couple more pictures to help sort this out. Is the round part supposed to screw into the headlight housing?

So this plug is bigger then the factory one. So they spliced the old plug from the headlight assembly to the wider plug on the new assembly. My guess it'* not wired right

Yeah, probably so. is the new assembly intended as a direct replacement?

No idea who manufactured it. The assembly was put in before I we purchased the car.

I don't have a wiring diagram handy. If it were me, I'd map out what each wire connects to on the driver side, and then make sure the same wires on the passenger side connect the same way. The thing you'll have to be careful of is that they may have wired them backwards from each other, or maybe not. A few minutes with a volt meter will figure that out.

Bought new oem headlight assembly and all is good.
