Deville 1995 Blower Motor
Hey guys, I'm back!
Where'* my Bonneville? Its a long story that involves my parents separating, and my insane mother stealing it,and junking it. A moment of silence for Bonee
...
So I had to get a new ride. I got a 1995 Deville. 120,000 miles on it when I bought it at the end of July. I've put 11,000 miles on it since. The guy who sold it to me said the previous owner just put it in a warehouse. And this guy said he always garaged it. From Georgia, I got the carfax. It ran great, and it looked brand new inside. Anyways, I lost heat and AC. I had a friend look at it. I replaced the vacuum hoses that run to it, which are also interconnected to my cruise control, which I now have again. We determined its my motor thats busted.
From what I understand is, I need to unbolt two bolts that mount the engine to the frame up front, and with a floor jack lower it, so I can get at the motor.
Well I've been looking everywhere and I can't find a decent picture guide on how to do it. I have a friend with a floor jack who said I can use it if I felt confidant I could do it.
Side note, I've noticed my fuel gage keep starting off at completely empty, blinking, every time I start my car. I have to drive for about 20 minutes before it goes up to what my fuel level really is, sometimes more. Whats up with that?
