Default Wiring harness 2008 Lucerne

I just bought a 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL with 3.8L V-6. Can anyone tell me what these wires were for? They are both located near the shock tower on the passenger side of the engine compartment and go into the harness just a few inches behind them. Top photo is blurry but this plug has a red, white, green, and two black wires, approx 18 -20 gauge. The other plug is a red wire and black wire, large wires, about 6 or 8 gauge. On the other side of this connector, the red wire has a blue tracer. There is no power with key on or off on either of the large wires so it must be a feed from somewhere, but I cannot find the other end where it was cut or disconnected, perhaps an entire component or module was removed? It is not part of the ABS, I traced those wires (red and red w/black) back to the underhood fuse panel. Everything seems to work on the car, including ABS, I test drove it to make sure. I do have a 'Service Stabilitrak' message and the light stays on, I am thinking perhaps it has something to do with that. I even purchased a shop manual on thumb drive, but I cannot find these wires anywhere on the schematics. The manual was advertised for 2006-2009, but all the diagrams refer to 2006. Also it shows a Traction control switch on the console near the floor shifter, but this car does not have a floor shifter or console, the shifter is on the column. Any ideas? or perhaps photos of your wiring harness if you have a similar vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.

Going to need some better pictures. These are so close that I can't tell much. It is as if you have pictured two fingers, but we can't tell what hand they are connected to nor if the arms and body are still there or not.

What do the leftover ends of the wires connect to?:

Here are some photos from further away. Both plugs come out of the main harness just a few inches behind. They are both located near the radiator overflow/fill tank at the front of the engine. I have looked all over and I cannot find the other end of these or any item or device that they might have attached to. The wiring diagrams in the shop manual I ordered have been no help.

Before I go digging . . . are there any warning lights on and/or gauges reading at extremes?

I looked around at engine bays for this car'* siblings and the 2-wire plug is there more often than not. The pictures aren't clear enough to see the other plug.

Still a good question, whether the wires for such a device run through there or not.

Its a 2008 lucerne which should have a 2wire alternator with a RVC system, i see two wires so id wonder if its maybe related to that, does the OP have charging issues?

I was secretly guessing that this might be related to the ill-fated washer fluid warming system that they were trying around this time . . . that failed. I know the TSB/recall was to disable it and compensate the owner a small amount for the lost feature. Maybe this is related?

There are no lights on, no codes, everything seems to work. The only issue is that I have no readings from any of the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors, the information center on the dash displays no readings on any of the tires. I have not had that checked out by a tires shop yet, but I doubt that has anything to do with the wires that are cut.

Charging system works fine, in fact I can't find anything that doesn't work. However, I don't know about the Variable effort steering whether it is functional or not, but there are no warning lights on. These wires do not come from the underhood fuse box, I removed it looking for the other end, but there was nothing.
