Default Wind Rush

Good morning ladies and gents, keep turning those wrenches and keeping your hands busy. I have a 1989 Buick Electra FWD that I am searching for the front door window run channel rubber. The OEM piece is molded in three areas especially behind the mirror. Everything that I have found is kind of generic without the molding for the mirror and without the metal insert. I need a quiet seal around the windows because I hate wind noise. Has anyone replaced the run channel with the correct molding and where did you purchase it?

That'* going to be a difficult era to buy those parts for. I did find https://www.jcwhitney.com/details/Fa...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

. . . by Google searching your year/make/model, however, JCWhitney'* site doesn't say exactly what car it is for.

As you are searching, you might want to look for the same for a LeSabre, Bonneville, or Oldsmobile 88 of the same year. I believe they all shared the same door hardware.
