Default Weird stabilizer in front of the harmonic balancer on 1991 Rivera 3.8L

Recently I replaced the harmonic balancer on my 1991 Rivera, but there was an extra bracket in front of it that the service manual did not mention. This bracket connects the motor to the frame with a small shock absorber. I broke one of the studs off of it when I reinstalled it on the frame and I was wondering if anyone else seen one of these or knows what it'* called so I can order another one. I can post pictures later if it helps.

Yeah, pictures would help. Sounds like a vibration damper of some sort.
