Unhappy trans mount

Hi new to the group and need help really bad. I drive a 97 Buick Lesabre Custom 3800 v6 series 2 and I am having problems replacing rear driver side trans mount. It is connected to trans and other half is connected to the frame of the car yes tried to lift engine still not enough clearance want to drop subframe but not sure how to do that. Started loosing subframe bushing but still can not get to mount. Sway bar is also there connected to subframe. Please help its the only car I have and its been parked for a week.

If you have the engine/transaxle supported just take out two bolts of the cradle to drop it and you'll be fine.

The cradle is an "H" bone with the 4 bolts one at each corner. The rack is attached on the rear side. I would remove the two rear bolts and lower it down to get access to the mount.

I replaced the tranny in my 98 LeSabre and I don't recall having to lower the cradle. However, it was a royal pain getting the motor mount in question out. I probably said a few magic words during the operation. I think I had split the engine cradle on the driver'* side; however, I didn't do the opposite side which may help. The only thing was that I couldn't find clear specs on the cradle bolts torque for my 98; I found conflicting information. You do want to torque the cradle bolts if you loosen them. Hopefully someone on here has clear torque specs for your 97.
