Default Thinking of buying my dads Buick

So, since he passed I have been driving it to keep in shape. Plus taking care of maintenance etc.
I have it for sale on craigslist but I have taken a liking to it. I think its a good deal.
A 2004 with 65K on the clock.
It does need tires. I have been reading here what to look for as far a quirks.
This will be my first Buick if I buy it.

i think it was a lesabre? 3800 is a very reliable engine aside from the intake manifold. but my wife drives my 98 bonnie and hardly had to do anything to it besides maintenance got it in 02ish and this weekend is the second times doing the gaskets but almost nothing else

They are good cars; my '93 has over 232K miles on it. I think Buick was crazy to drop the 3800 engine.

power to efficency wise it was getting bad. my 3.5 monte has 224hp and 30 local and 34hwy. the 3800 is kinda like the 350 it will run for hundreds of thousands of miles if you do the maintenance but not the most efficient thing thats why they came out with the lsx/vortec series for trucks and cars

I went to the selling dealer and got the records. There was a oil leak which was repaired.
I had plenty of scam emails from craigslist. LOL
I want the car taken of,so I need to buy it. I put my 99 Taurus up for sale. Its a beater.

Yea, get rid of the posford and buy the Buick. It may not be a ladies car, but with some mods she will be a street ripping granny car.
