It has been very helpful to me in the last few years and I just wanted to say thanks to all of the contributors and people who run the site. Sadly, my 2000 Park Avenue Ultra stripped its splines on the 4th gear clutch hub this week (so no more overdrive) and thus is destined to soon travel to the junkyard. With 237,000 miles I do not think it makes sense to do a rebuild so off to the salvage yard it will go.

The car is all rusted out with holes in the floor boards and wheel wells?

I am going to be driving an Equinox.

It is in Saint Paul Minnesota - no holes and very little rust.

A little more about the car - in the last 20,000 miles - new tires, valve covers, lower control arms, shocks and struts, oil pan gasket, tensioner assembly, supercharger oil change, new spark plugs and wires. It does have an egr slow leak. Also, the hvac air only blows out of the front vent (won't adjust up or down) but the heat and air work.

I am still driving it around town.

Do you live in the rust belt or?

any idea of a price and rust??

We are going to keep it for now to drive in town and not sell it thanks.
