Maybe Macdrive will make his way here. He has one.

I can comment about a few:
the memory buttons for setting the AC, radio, seat, mirror preferences. I don't use the exit button that moves the seat back for easier in and out.
the DIC that you can push two buttons (bottom two I think) and then customize some settings, separately for each of the two drivers.
the autodown windows for both fronts--push slightly and window operates normally when button is pushed only with starts and stops--push hard into the second step and the window goes down completely without stopping
the automatic wipers--the farther up the auto settings you go the more sensitive they are to moisture on the windshield--be aware when the wipers are in any setting other than off the headlights are turned on not just the DRLs.
the buttons on the driver wheel control the radio with seek scan band changes and even control the CD'* operation.

The first thing I would be concerned about is whether the lower intake manifold gaskets were replaced when the UIM was done. If not, I would put that on the top of my list. Read this: http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=38

Wife has an 04 LeSabre. I will assume the 00 is similar.

Seems you already know about the UIM...did you go to a 180 thermostat (depending on your climate)? Did you switch away from DexCool and to something like Prestone Extended Life?

Only "watchouts" I see on design of the wife'* 04 (compared with my 98 ) are:
-Control arms are different design, and bushings are very prone to being squeaky--keep 'em lubed VERY regularly.
-All the wheelwell and under-engine splash guard plastic is attached using little plastic pushpins instead of honest hardware; it'* all loose and rattles like the dickens. I will eventually be replacing the asinine pushpins with bolts and nylock nuts.
-Top of windshield much lower in newer design and restricts view...I'm almost too tall for it at 6'3"

Better things on the '04 compared with the 98 (i.e., things I wish MY car had):
-Independent link rear suspension
-4-wheel ABS discs
-Side airbags
-Far better lines on outside
-Greatly updated interior...ESPECIALLY since they did away with those stupid peeling window switch bezels!
