Unhappy Resonator Delete

I put a Walker Sound FX muffler on a 2001 Buick LeSabra and disappointed with sound. Too quiet. I am thinking of deleting the Resonator. Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Pro'* or Con'*. Thanks.

Leave the resonator. The 3800 is really raspy without it. If you want louder, I'd suggest a magnaflow muffler. Still sensible while cruising, but sound great under hard acceleration.

What Beetlegrinder said. The resonator mellows the tone don't EVER delete it.
