Oldmobile Tornado Trofeo. Did a caddy ever sport a 3800? I also thought there were RWD versions of the 3800 for Trans Ams and Firebirds? I heard a rumor that the Grand Am was offered with a 3800 one year, but I have only ever seen 3100'* and quad 4'* in them.
The 3800 has been in alot of cars.

The grand am'* used the varian of the 3800, which was the 3300 for 92-93<---- 93 was the last year of production of the 3300... GM should have tossed a balance shaft into the 3300 and kept it for use in other models... It made good power even for its age and time...

This was not a 3800... It was simply a Turbo 3.8... Big diffrence...
The 3.8 was renamed the 3800 when it went through a totall redesign... The Turbo 3.8 carried over tho ... I think 89 was the last year...
3800 Began in 88, some models still had the 3.8 Vin 3 tho...
