Well parts are ordered. I got SenSen struts for the front end and KYB SR 1002 air shocks for the rear.. I also ordered FE1, soft ride, springs for the front and rear.

Did ya check with GM if the spring insulators were the same part # between the suspensions? I know on the Bonnevilles they were different between the suspensions

Well this Monday, hopefully, the suspension surgery will take place.. I have only found one or two bad reviews on the SenSen struts with a whole bunch of good reviews in favor.. They are built using the KYB shocks as a blueprint for success, right down to the Japanese nock seals. SenSen, as do the KYB struts, will have a 10% stiffer ride over AC Delco,* OEM.. I think I can live with that.. The added 10% stiffness will help control the pronounced undulating that goes with the soft ride suspension.. No need to stock up on "sea sick" pills..

Well, you might be able to take up some of that 10% by taking about 5psi out of your tires.

Have you checked into the recycling yard to find some factory FE1 struts?

as i said the kyb'* are about 10 percent stiffer than the stock was on my sse. they get a little softer as all struts do but not much. thats what i would do, look for oem fe1 struts with low miles.

May do that.. On the brighter side, today I went speed bumpin.. Found a lonely park full of them.. I made good use of the bumps while the kids are in school.. Over and Over and over for three hours I did them.. And yes. it did breakdown the stiffness of the springs and shocks but not a whole lot.. It'* about back to where I started from.. Now, the struts/shocks are at 10% stiffer..
