so if my UIM has a hole in it alread I can still do this ??

2) why did the factory have coolant going thru the UIM ?

3) so i need to drill the holes out a little BEFORE using the tap ??

4) will everything else seal up ok if I reuse the leaky UIM ??

Thx

Yes, this is the fix for a bad UIM
Not a clue why they run coolant up to the throttle body.
The hole is a little to small for a 1/4" tap, so drill it out to the correct size for a 1/4" tap
Yes, it will
