Just replaced pcm with same end result. Retested what i did in post 5 and thats the same. Fuel pump fuse blows right when u turn key to start car. Now the rear lamps fuse blows, put fuse in and gets really hot and then pops. Voltage is only 11.80v.
Fuel pump relay socket pin 85 test for pcm 2 second prime still failed. Test light probe no light cranking, turn key off 2 sec, back on still no light.
Did i just waste $$ on a pcm when perhaps the issue is bcm ?

Last I knew, the BCM doesn't enable the fuel relay. If you had schematics, you would see this.

Fuel pump fuse blowing out combined with the rear tail light fuse blowing i wonder if somethings in back end is pinched up ? Still doesnt explain no voltage to the knock sensor though. Ill do a test for voltage and ground at fuel pump pigtail connector, see what that looks like.

You may have a combined ground just like the 92-99 series did. Again, if you had schematics, you would find this. Alldatadiy.com will get you all the schematics you need for about $15 a year.

The no start occurred after i had replaced the starter, car started fine for several days and then the no start. But she still cranks fine though . Dunno know if perhaps related.

Well, you need to find out why the fuel pump fuse keeps tripping. And the answer may not be easy to find. This will require knowledge of 12v systems, a DVM and basic electronic knowledge.

You don't have anything in your sig, its in your avatar area. That is based on how many posts you have. The more posts, the phrase changes.

The fuel pump is tied into the pass key system that the BCM controls
best thing to do get a wiring chart
unwrap the wires that got chafed
disconnect the ECM and trace 1 wire at a time
from the pin number from the ECM to the other end
that it shows on the chart
with a meter it should be 000 on each wire
when both ends are disconnected
you have a short to ground and or a open circuit
a shop will charge about 100 a hour or more on wiring with no
end in sight
