Default Header panel removal

Hello all. I have a 1996 Olds 88, which I understand is basically the same as the Buick Lesaber. Can anyone tell me how to remove the header panel? I tried asking over on the Oldsmobile forum a week or so ago, but nobody has replied. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, there was a technical problem with the board and we couldn't reply.

I've never had to take mine out. Bolts and stuff maybe?

I expect it is pretty typical, that where the panel meets each side, the fender folds at a 90' angle to it and has at least two fasteners per side, going through the fender lip into the header panel.

There is probably one or more fasteners along the length at the bottom too, so a matter of pulling anything in the way, and i wonder if it might help to pull the headlights out first.

What panel are you referring to?
