Default Grommets for the Master Cylinder Reservoir

Hello everyone I am new to this forum. I am working on my friends 1990 Buick Park Avenue Ultra 3.8. His abs system works fine, but the reservoir grommet has failed and leaking brake fluid. I have been trying to find the grommets with no success. Can anyone tell me where I can get the grommets and the part number? Thank You

The reservoir is not under any pressure and the rubber seat should only leak if it'* badly damaged. Are you sure the reservoir isn't cracked?

Yes I am sure. The grommet is torn. The reservoir has pushed out of the hole, but if I have to get the whole reservoir where can I find it?

This is a 1990 Electra Park Avenue Ultra, right?

We're talking about between the reservoir and the master cylinder, right?

Any decent auto parts store should be able to get one for you, although it might be a special order for this car. You can also find them at https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...17458&jsn=2330

I apologize if I wasn't very clear in my original post. I thought talking to another person that work on cars would know the brake reservoir sits on top of the master cylinder and there are grommets in between to keep the brake fluid from leaking out. One grommet is badly damaged and needs to be replaced, so if I could find out where I can get the grommets or the reservoir with the grommets. I would greatly appreciate it.

You thought right. I've usually heard them called seals, but that could be a regional thing.

Weird that it got damaged in the first place. Any idea how this happened?

I think just dry rotted, but after much searching I found them. The reservoir you posted is different from the one on the car. It is an abs hydraulic unit and the reservoir is shaped like a c in the middle. Thanks for trying to help.
