'Just in case you have to pull the injectors out again'. Seems like a good enough reason to me LOL.

If you're going to do a filter at the same time, I'd suggest changing the filter first, then running the car for a couple of minutes after that. In the off chance that a bit of junk gets into the post-filter line and gets into an injector you'd probably rather it got into an old injector.
