Default front wheel bearing ? help

2000 Lesabre...not making noise but when in the air you can chuck the tire and rim a little when holding at 12 and 6:00 ? is should I chg it now or wait till it starts howling ?? I know its bearing play as everything else is tight..You can put your finger in the back side while someone else is chucking it

I changed mine with a slight 12/ 6 play. Changed the ball joints first, problem was still there. It helped reduce the wobble known on our vehicles at 70 mph.

A couple tips. Make sure your 34mm socket is 6 point instead of 12 point. Nut is hard to break and extra play in the socket doesn't help. Order a replacement nut ahead of time. The nut is suggested to be replaced when replacing the hub, but most auto parts stores don't stock them. Rockauto sells them for around $3. I went with a Timken replacement, very satisfied.
