Default Did GM chg the egr stovepipe in late 99 ?

Ok I have a 2000 Lesabre with 75k on it...I was going to be proactive and chg the UIM before it burned thru...a tech at the local GM dealership said that my car has the reduced stove pipe and all late 99 and up do too...he said while this doesnt mean it wont be a problem 75k is too soon to worry..
Did they chg the stove pipe size ?? Any way to know for sure ??

Some UIM plenums come with a different style of stove pipe. Which one I'm not sure, we would have to wait for the parts research guru WilliamE to chime in.

And yes, if you remove the UIM plenum(the big black thing) you can see the stovepipe.
