Question Dash gauge issue

2007 Lucerne, I have an issue with the gauge lights, at night when the dash lights up only the shift indicator lights the actual needle instruments do not light. The gauges are functioning correctly when I look with a flash light, also the radio and climate control center section lights work fine. I have looked at the fuse panels but can not figure which fuse might supply power to the gauges. I know when all is working the dimmer **** controls the whole dash seems like the whole dash should share the lighting power.

The illumination bulbs may be bad.

For all three bulbs to go at once would seem odd, I am thinking they might be fused separately from the rest even that seems a bit off from the norm!

By the looks of it, there was a known problem with the daylight sensor. Mega complaint'* about this issue.

Thanks for the link thinking back around the time of the malfunction I remember a light clicking sound, it did not persist so I did not check it out but will now. Could very well be a relay buried in the dash. Need to see if I access it.

In the event you need a replacement, this place would be my recommendation. They also do repairs - you just ship the cluster to their PA facility, so it'* a pretty simple process. Good luck!

Note by CathedralCub: de-linked "this place" as this is an advertisement by QuandAns42, who has an improperly completed profile and has only ever posted cleverly disguised advertisements.
