Default Climate Control Panel

I have a 1995 Buick Lesabre. When I bought this car, the AC temp control unit below the radio did not work; therefore I have no heat or AC in my car. I thought that I could fix this buy buy a new unit and replacing it. However, after buying new unit, it still does not work. I have no lights, sounds or anything. I noticed that the fan (maybe) was unplugged. After plugging it back in, It will blow air from the defrost at full blast, but I am unable to change temp or speed. Ive checked fuses, all seem to be working. I am not a mechanic so I don't know all the terms or lingo. I could get pictures or whatever if someone is willing to help!

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on what is going on. Winter is coming and I would like to have some heat this winter. Thank you!

I have the info for that car. Sounds like a power issue.
Here'* a good fast way to check fuses.

Thank you,
I did check the fuses underneath the drivers side steering wheel. None of them look blown. Could fuses still be "blown" but not broken or brown on the inside?

They can look like new and be bad. Doing it this way or with a test light you can check the entire box in under two minutes and KNOW they are good or bad.

We probably need a picture of the climate control'* control panel. Sometimes the term "Climate Control" gets used interchangeably with non climate-control standard air conditioning controls.

Also, how many miles on the car?

How long have you owned it?

Did it come to you with the blower disconnected?

Beyond that, what carfixer007 said above ^^^^^^^ is a good place to start.

Ive owned car for 2 years, I don’t want to go a second winter without heat. It has 120k miles. Fan was unplugged when I bought it. I’ve noticed at night when lights are on that there are lights on “climate control” but only on left side.

Here’* a photo of the “climate control” that isn’t working. I’ve noticed when lights are in that it has lights lit but only on left side.
