Default can bad uim lim gaskets

cause my no start condition? 1998 buick lesabre cranks and maybe runs for a couple seconds then dies.

doesnt sound right. normally wont even run that bad. unless it hydrolocks then not at all. you check the fuel pressure?

didn't put a gauge on it but changed the fuel pump. checked the fpr vacuum line for fuel. changed the fpr maybe 2 years ago. also changed crank sensor. getting spark at the plugs.

Might have a plugged cat, pull the O2 sensor and see if it will run

could be, could be iac or maf, you have any codes? access to scanner w/live data?

going to check fuel pressure tomorrow after work. and pull o2 sensor. can't get a live data scan tool till weekend. have a code reader. switched out maf with another used one no difference. same with iac. is there a test for the iac?

normally iac issues are more related to carbon build up on the cone and seat in the throttle body
