I'm trying to find out if anyone has had an issue with the Buick Verano. I have a 2013 Verano. The other night, I was pulling into the driveway when my car came to such a sudden stop and made so much noise, I was certain I must have hit something. I was doing about 5mph, but the stop was so hard that upon "impact" I bruised my left knee against the dashboard, and my elbow was actually skinned and bleeding from the steering wheel. Jumping out of my car, there was nothing there and no physical damage whatsoever. I returned to the car and noticed "power steering failure" on my dash screen, but the power steering behaved fine and I continued to pull into the driveway. I shut the car off and restarted to find the notification was gone. Saturday morning, I called my dealer and brought the car in for a service check. They can't find anything wrong with it that could cause the sudden stop. I'm scared that this is some type of electronic failure and concerned that should it happen again, I may be driving at a much faster speed. Has anyone experienced this or heard of this type of incident?
