Whats it worth?
I recently purchased a 95 Riviera with the Supercharged 3800. It has some body damage on the passenger side but is otherwise in excellent condition. The motor knocks but runs great. Has beautiful black leather and ever option available except a moonroof and heated seats. Whats she worth?

We need more info and possibly some pictures of the car to give you a good estimate. But if it has body damage and a knocking motor it already has 2 huge strikes against it in 95% of peoples mind.

Sounds like a rod knock to me by how it'* described. My guess is that it runs smoothly, just makes some noise doing so.
Like others have said, with body damage and a bad engine you're not going to get too much for the vehicle unfortunately. Put in a used 3800 from a junkyard and you'll have a buyer a lot easier. You should be able to find a used engine for pretty cheap.

Well, the noise is most likely a rod knock. I am being told by the shop that I will need a new motor. It idles great and runs like it still has plenty of power. Can I still save a motor that is knocking at rev? I only asked what it was worth because I want to put another motor in it. I only have paid 1500 for the car. The body damage is pretty ugly on the passenger side but the rest of the car looks pretty good. The damage was caused by sliding off the road in the snow by the previous owner and hitting a gaurd rail. I would really like to fix this car as the inside is beautiful and everything works. can I just installl rod bearings? I am working with a budget of $750. Do you guys think that it can be fixed for this? Thanks, shaun.

To most people a car with motor or body problems is basically junk.
Therefore I'm basing my price off my local area as you don't mention your location.
$150 max, my first impression from your description is I hope you put the decimal in the wrong place.

If its not too bad yet... I would invest in a Crank Kit....
Pull the motor and replace the Crank and Bearings..
But you have to make sure you did not spin a bearing... If it did spin a bearing, you would have to replace or resize the rod...
