the bigger the battery the longer it takes to charge at a given voltage. 3.3a is like a trickle charge and thats the best way but it will likely take a while if the battery was discharged

Justin it was just my monthly maintenance manual charge top up. It was not discharged.
It took about 1 hour before the full light came on.
With it close to freezing overnight and what ever security or parasitic drains overnight, all the interior lights that come on every time you open doors etc, I think the car needs to run more than 20 minutes per trip to really keep it topped up.
Thus the reason for checking it with the CTEK trickle once a month.
I have to say that the Odyssey Battery'* voltage recovers quickly, unlike the many lead acid'* I have owned throughout the years. Time will tell, I hope to get 8 years out of the Odyssey. It sure cranks over quick in the AM !!!
