I have to replace the passenger side side view power mirror but need guidance/instruction on removal of the interior door panel to access the hardware. Ive attempted this on a different car and broke all of the plastic tabs that hold the panel in place.

They break. You can buy new ones at the parts store or better yet from Fastenal if you have one near you.

There are a few screws that hold the bottom in, then yeah they break, especially at 21 years old. They're easy to come by at parts stores etc.
