97 LeSabre hard start
hey gang,
i inherited my sisters 97 LeSabre. 108,000 miles. Pop bought it in 97 brand new, so i know its complete history. Lately its been starting rough. I mean if i turn the key the engine starts and flys to 2000 rpms then chills out to 800 in 5 seconds. my 01 doesnt do that at all. is this something to "look into" or not. i drive it on the weeekends usually so ill pay more attention tomorrow.
Its a solid boat, makes me appreciate the sporty look of my 2001. lol

You need to look into that... It shouldn't do that...

Possibly start with cleaning the TB and the IAC passage... From there I'd hook a scantool to it and look at the various sensors..
