Default 91 Park Ave. EXT TEMP sensor messed up

91 Parke Ave has less than 70k miles and last summer the EXT TEMP button on the electronic climate control worked to within 3 degrees. Over the last 3-4 months it reads off by 30-40 degrees. Any suggestions? Should I replace the ambient air sensor in front of the radiator? Also, today it was about 70 degrees and I turned the AC on during lunch, it just blowed cool air(like the vents). So, I think that it has leaked off and needs charged, no big deal. When I go home, the AC works fine until I got cold enough and turned the temp up and it stops blowing cold again and don't blow cold all the way home. Could this all be linked to the ambient air sensor?

Thanks

Default ambient air temp sensor

yes, common failure. replace the exterior temp sensor. it'* behind the grille near the hood latch. the automatic climate control takes everything into account for heating/cooling, including the exterior temperature. that should fix ALL of your problems!
