Default 2003 Lesabre...new shocks now bouncy ride

I was working on a 2003 Buick Lesabre.....the rear shocks had not been replaced ever....it had a very bad noise in the back coming from the old shocks......now that I've replaced the new air shocks in the back, the ride is very, very bouncy.....what gives?

What gives is you have a bouncy air ride. Can you tighten the coils?

if your air ride is factory function, then I would say your shocks you installed are of gabriel kind(or similar) which require more psi than the stock system held at minimum. If so, that requires buying a spring/drier kit which replaces a spring in the compressor which raises the minimum psi of the shocks

There is no way to do that.

I think there is a problem with the air pump on the Electronic Level Control..... I need a schematic on the ELC for the 2003 Custom Lesabre......and I will check out the pump to see if it is the problem.
