Default 2003 lesabre

2003 Buick LeSabre

the engine has stalled twice today no recent changes or any reason for this?

Once it happened when I was just coasting and went to give it gas and noticed that it was off -put in neutral and restarted, both times - the second time I was coming to a stop sign and it stopped idling again.

What might be causing this ??

Can not edit. I would remove and clean the throttle body completely. IAC

How many miles on the car?

How many miles have you owned it?

Is maintenance up to date?

I suspect the IAC valve.

You can edit for up to five minutes after the post is originally created, after that it is locked down.

Often on the 3.8L, this is caused by a mediocre connection on one of the low voltage wires at the ICM (see photo) which cost nothing to fix (if this is the cause). To check for this, with the engine idling, wiggle each wire separately, the engine should not die while wiggling each wire.

If you find yourself looking at the ICM connection, make sure the wire next to the screw hasn't rubbed its insulation off on the screw right here:
