what proceded the no start was a plugged cat and blown intake gasket. i unplugged the cat and the car ran. i replaced the intake gasket and now the no spark.

I was thinking of a Pass Key anti-theft (PK2 or 3 by '05) system fault, but the intake issue makes me think of wiring issue down to the CPS.

thanks for the get back. i am going to test the crank sensor and the ign mod and cam sensor in correct order and steps again. what gets me is it was running after the cat fix and as soon as i shut it off i removed battery neg. the wiring and connections have been gone over during the two previous series of tests and the intake job was done with care in regards to those issues. or at least thats what tried to do

Cam sensor has nothing to do with spark......

If the crank sensor and ICM are new, my guess would be the harness between the crank sensor and ICM, and the pins at crank sensor harness and the ICM harness....
