Default 1998 Buick Century - air conditioner problem

Recently, the driver side ac started blowing warm air when I put on the AC. The passenger side ac vents are working well and blowing very cold air. Any ideas of what the problem might be?

Additionally, the temperature display does not light up. It has been like this for over 4 years. I don't think this is the problem since the ac temperature controls still seem to work. But I thought I'd throw it out there.

This is my first post.
Thanks for any responses.

i would assume since you said display you have the digital a/c. i would think you have separate actuators for each side, i would see if the driver one is moving first
