1995 PA Climate fan WON'T shut off?

Default 1995 PA Climate fan WON'T shut off?

I have a buddy who has a 95 park ave. n/a. he has the automatic climate control...and he says that his fan runs constantly....he has to unplug it under the hood to get it to stop. anyone know what is causing this?

Most like the heater fan control module. I believe it'* on top of the blower fan case out under the hood. He may have to remove the Convenience or Relay center cover with all the major fuses and relays in it.

The wires from the blower that he'* unplugging probably go back to the control module. I believe someone said that'* available from Advance Auto parts now as well as the dealer and recycling yards!

Anyone have any pics on this location? He looked and couldn't physically see the control module without removing anything. some pics might help.

This is my Boss'* 95 Riviera:

Obviously no maxifuse relay center here on the firewall. The control module would be right below that, so it MIGHT be the little black box directly behind the Alternator? It'* in the vicinity of where the heater hoses enter the firewall. Should have some big heat sinks on it when you find it. It won't be visible or exposed without removing a cover.

thanks uncle bill....we'll give it another search tomorrow. this guy might join the club. yup..this is a bummer because he already drained his battery once. the silly fan actually stays on even after the car is shut off.
