Hey guys first post here, so I needed some new tires due to a hole in the side wall and I found some wheel tire combo on FB marketplace and jumped on the sale without double checking size...

Pretty much I got 18 inch wheels that are 8inch wide and they are running 235 wide tires with 55 on the sidewall, the issue is on the rear it'* hitting the strut.

I'm wondering if anyone knows from experience if it is possible to run 18 inch wheels on the back, maybe if I get a tire size 225/40 and use a spacer maybe just to push it out away from that strut... Anyways sorry for the long winded post any help would be greatly appreciated

Going to need to know the backspacing to answer this.
