You mentioned that it does NOT act up when the MAF is unplugged. Have you tried cleaning or replacing it? If you replace it do NOT get a CHEAP aftermarket unit on Ebay. I had good luck with buying a USED OEM MAF on Ebay. If you buy NEW get a HITACHI as they are the OEM.
